US Embassy awards the May ‘Entrepreneur of the Month’

The US Embassy in Bucharest will honor on Friday the May Entrepreneur of the Month: the company MIRA Rehab in Cluj-Napoca.

The award ceremony will take place at the Babes Bolyai University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca, the Tiberiu Popoviciu hall of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.

Through the “Entrepreneur of the Month” program, the US Embassy promotes in 2015 Romanian individuals and companies who understood the potential of a new idea, and then came up with a courageous approach, designed to transform the idea into reality.

MIRA Rehab was founded by students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics within UBB. They created a medical software platform of recovery through games. This platform turns the exercises needed for the recovery of disabled people into games. The platform already enjoys international recognition and is used in rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
