Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii adds a new Partner

Romanian independent law firm Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii has announced that 11 lawyers have been promoted to various roles as part of its annual performance review. The firm has added a new Partner to its ranks, while promoting 10 other lawyers across its Bucharest office in a bid to strengthen the firm’s Energy, Litigation and Arbitration, as well as Banking/Capital Markets, PPP/ Concessions and Employment practice groups.

Sebastian Radocea will become a Partner in the firm’s Energy practice group effective January 1st 2015. He also specialises in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate and Commercial law. Sebastian brings more than 15 years of legal experience, having been involved in Romania’s first unbundling of the power distribution and supply activities of a formerly State-owned utility, as well as the privatisation of two power distribution and supply companies in Romania.

He has also advised numerous private investors in connection with the development, operation, acquisition and/or sale of photovoltaic projects. To date, Sebastian is advising on the first-ever implementation of energy efficiency projects in the public sector in Romania.

The appointment of Sebastian Radocea to Partner follows the election of 3 other lawyers to the partnership at the beginning of 2014 which now brings the total number of Partners at Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii to 25.

The firm separately made up 10 lawyers to the role of Managing Associate or Senior Associate. The new Managing Associates are Andreea Lisievici-Lefter, Patricia Enache, Mihai Ene and Dana Busini, while Olga Cobăsneanu, Maxim Dogoter, Mariana Sturza, Ruxandra Niță, Ruxandra Frangeti and Alexandru Moldoveanu were promoted to Senior Associate.
