The general manager of the Romanian Lottery, Adrian Manolache, has resigned, but will stay until May 8 at the company’s management, according to sources quoted by Digi24.
Manolache is the Lottery’s manager since the spring of 2013.
The Romanian Lottery is being prosecuted for carrying out unlicensed slot-machine gambling activities in the period 2006-2014, the damage in this file exceeding EUR 100 million, according to the Prosecutor Office attached to Bucharest Court of Appeal.
Finance minister Eugen Teodorovici has confirmed for Mediafax on Saturday evening the resignation of the Romanian Lottery’s general manager, Adrian Manolache, saying that his resignation is “a unilateral act of will”.
