The Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs will organize a public tender at the beginning of November with a view to acquiring communication services to connect the units and employees to the institution’s internal network.
The contract is estimated at approximately RON 49.6 million (approximately RON 11 million), according to Mediafax newswire.
According to the task book, the acquired communication services should connect 1,955 units of the ministry.
The contract will roll out throughout three years, starting with January 2014.
The tender is open to companies that have supplied VPN services with a cumulated value of RON 13 million (nearly EUR 3 million), no VAT, throughout at most 4 contracts.
Potential participants must deposit a warranty of RON 800,778 (nearly EUR 180,000).
