The building with Astra Asigurari and Romania Libera, up for sale

The office building that currently houses Astra Asigurari and Romania Libera’s headquarters, owned by business-man Dan Adamescu, has been put up for sale by Piraeus Bank for a price of EUR 14 million. The building has been in the same stage before, given that it was placed on sale in march by the liquidator of Omega City Business Center, a company currently bankrupt.

At that monemnt the liquidator, Pheonix Lar, set a price of EUR 9 million.

Dan Adamescu owns Omega city Business center indirectly and according to Ministry of Finance information, it curently has debts worth RON 265 million (EUR 60 million). The building also called CBC Office is on Nerva Traian Street, near Unirii Square, and can offer for rent a surface of 12,146 square meters.

The building was built in 1996 and among the companies that have set up offices there we mention Vodafone, UniCredit Tiriac Bank, Citibank, Finansbank, IBM, Libra Bank, along with Astra and Romania Libera.
