Telekom Romania launches new concept on the market: MagentaONE

Telekom Romania launched on Monday the commercial concept for integrated fixed and mobile services, MagentaONE, Romania becoming the third country with this facility, after Germany and Slovakia.

According to Mediafax, the new service is addressing both individuals and companies. By the end of April, more than 100,000 customers were already benefiting from the new service.

“With MagentaONE, customers can find in one place all the necessary services for fixed and mobile telephony: One Stop Shop, one single call center, one bill, one MyAccount application (including a mobile app). We are among the first countries that implement the group’s expertise and skills and this is now confirmed through the launch of MagentaONE commercial concept,” said on Monday, in a press conference, Nikolai Beckers, CEO Telekom Romania.

With the new service, Telekom Romania opened a new version of the interactive television, IPTV. Moreover, Telekom launched its first portfolio for companies of fixed-mobile convergence and cloud solutions in Romania, the customers benefiting from 1 TB storage space.

Telekom Romania is a brand that belongs to Deutsche Telekom, which has over 151 million mobile service customers, 30 million fixed lines and over 17 million broadband lines (as at December 31, 2014).

Telekom revenues in Romania decreased by 7.7 percent in the first quarter, from EUR 261 million a year ago to EUR 241 million.
