GTS Central Europe, telecommunications services provider in Central and Eastern Europe, announced revenues of EUR 387 million in 2012, a decline of 1 percent from the prior year on a constant currency basis, according to its consolidated unaudited figures.

GTS CE runs a fiber optic and data center network throughout the region and has operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

“Our corporate customers are increasingly looking to us for regional solutions, which now represent over 20 percent of retail revenue.  From Ethernet VPNs to cloud services built in our data centers, GTS has adapted to ensure we deliver services that fit the needs of our customers.” said Danny Bottoms, CEO of GTS.

The company’s EBITDA amounted to EUR 103 million, representing an increase of over 4 percent from the prior year and reflecting a 27 percent margin.

GTS invested EUR 50 million in 2012.  The majority of capital expenditures were focused on network expansion, to include 100 Gbps upgrades on low latency routes, new international border crossings and additional data center space.
