Tea ceremony art presented at Odeon Theatre

If you want to discover the secrets of the Japanese tea ceremony, also called the Way of Tea, the Japan Embassy in Romania, together with Chado Urasenke Tankokai Association and the Cultural Roots Association invite the public to Odeon Theatre for a visit to a traditional Tea House.  The event will take place only today.

The master of the ceremony is Michiko NOJIRI, a tea teacher, who is characterized by a particular attention to certain aspects of the practice that often receive little or no interest: right breathing technique, body position and coordination of the breath with the basic movements.

For this event, the organizers prepared two free sessions, starting 16:00 and 18:30.

Sensei NOJIRI will be assisted by another tea master, Romanian Gabriel Soga Caciula.

Furthermore, the event will also host a kimono, haiga, bonsai, origami and bonseki exhibition, as well as the launching of the Haiku 2013 calendar.
