TCE 3 Brazi, owned by politician Culita Tarata, which made a profit of EUR 50 million in the past six years but also amassed debts of EUR30 million, has been declared bankrupt.

The company filed for bankruptcy in June and the Neamt tribunal admitted the file on September 10.

Contacted by Mediafax newswire, Culita Tarata said he’s currently having health issues and doesn’t know what is going on with his company.

“Follow the Tribunal’s site and see what they announce. I am not up to date and don’t know what is going on”, Tarata declared.

TCE 3 Brazi posted a turnover of RON 88 million and a net profit of RON 5.5 million in 2013. All its revenue came from business in animal farming and agricultural exploitation.
