Subway opens second local restaurant

The second Romanian Subway franchise was opened this weekend in the Iulius Mall shopping center in Cluj-Napoca. The restaurant covers 80 sqm.

This is the first unit to be opened following the partnership signed between Iulius Group and Subway. A new outlet will be added at the end of this month in the Palas shopping center in Iasi.

The first local Subway restaurant was opened about a month ago in Bucharest on the Nicolae Titulescu Blvd. The American fast food chain announced at that time plans to open about 40 restaurants in Romania over the next 4 years.
