In an announcement posted on the website of the Ministry of Public Finances, companies can apply for state aid starting with October 1. This applies to those investments that promote new technologies and create at least 200 work places which are created within 3 years since the investment is finalized.
The company that receives state aid is also under the obligation to maintain these work places for 5 years at least since the first money is paid for each of the created workplaces.
The announcement says “the budget for the state aid framework for 2012 is RON 220 million.”
“Starting with October 1, 2012, applications for financing can be registered, in accordance with Government Decision Nr. 797/2012 regarding the institution of a state aid framework to support investments that are promoting regional development by using new technologies and creating work places. The applications, together with the documents required according to the stipulations of Government Decision Nr. 797/2012 should be submitted at the general registry office of the Ministry of Public Finances, 17 Apolodor St., district 5, Bucharest, mentioning on the envelope: “State Aid Framework instituted via the Government Decision Nr. 797/2012.”
