Second budget revision: Labor, Administration and Defense to get more money

The Ministries of Labor, Public Administration, Defense, Justice, Interior and Foreign Affairs will get extra money at the second budget revision, while funds will be cut from Health, Agriculture, Transport and Environment Ministries.

Government Secretariat: minus RON 1.3 billion
Ministry of Public Finances: minus RON 992.8 million
Ministry of Agriculture: minus RON 1 billion
Ministry of Health: minus RON 246 million
Ministry of Transport: minus RON 170 million
Ministry of Environment and Climate Change: minus RON 164.9 million
Presidential Administration: minus RON 1.3 million
Deputies Chamber: minus RON 6.1 million
Constitutional Court: minus RON 200,000
Ministry of Youth and Sport: minus RON 3.5 million
Ministry of Education: minus RON 5.5 million
Ministry of Culture: minus RON 10.2 million
National Agency for Integrity (ANI): minus RON 1.2 million
Ministry of Economy: minus RON 19.8 million
Romanian Academy: minus 6.9 million.

Ministry of Labour: plus RON 1,2 billion
Ministry of Rural Development and Public Administration: plus RON 575.2 million
Ministry of Internal Affairs: plus RON 254.9 million
Ministry of National Defense: plus RON 140.8 million
Ministry of Justice: plus RON 106.8 million
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: plus RON 96.million
Senate: plus 4.2 million
The Court of Cessation and Justice: plus RON 4.8 million

The Government has also decided that with this budgetary revision it will cut RON 4 billion from cofinancing EU projects. Over RON 1 billion has been cut from expenses on highway projects. Part of the money saved this way will be redirected and given to mayors to organize elections in their towns. In total, the Government sent over RON 2 billions to town halls through this budgetary revision, for the presidential election in November.
