Sand cycling contest awaits bikers in Constanta

The first European cycling contest on sand will take place on Saturday, May 3, on the Modern Beach in Constanta, expecting several hundred participants.

The competition will take place along two distances, 45 km and 22.5 km respectively. The high-speed route includes 2.3 km stretch of land, 600 meters of concrete slabs and 1.6 km compacted sand, with a level difference of 50 meters, representing a 4.5 km loop.

The event is organized by Doltcini Romania, a Belgian company, specialized in producing and personalizing cycling clothing, in cooperation with the Constanta County Direction for Youth and Sport, the Sana Sport Association and RidersClub.
