Ronald Binkofski leaves Microsoft Romania

Ronald Binkofski, general manager of Microsoft Romania, is leaving the local branch of the company, according to local blogger Zoso.

The company is looking for a replacement for Binkofski at the moment. Sorin Eftene, services director at Microsoft, is a possible candidate for the position, says Zoso.

Binkofski was appointed GM of Microsoft Romania starting October 2010. Previously, he worked for Microsoft in Poland as developer & platform evangelism lead and later as marketing, business and operations Lead. Before joining Microsoft, he was CEE Area Manager in Software AG.

Binkofski has German and Polish citizenship. He graduated from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Jagiellonian University and specialized in mathematics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
