The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), followed by the United Nations Organization (UN) and the European Union, are the international bodies Romanians trust the most, an Inscop research released on Tuesday says according to Agerpres.
According to the barometer, the NATO enjoys the highest trust, from 60.7 percent of the Romanians, exceeding as a first the 60 percent threshold as compared to 55 percent in February 2015.
Second ranking in the top of the confidence in the international bodies comes the UN, by 56.2 percent much, very much trust (51.9 percent in February), and the third place is occupied by the EU, by 55.5 percent (with 51.7 percent in February).
The European Commission ranks fourth by 50.2 percent (47.9 percent in February), followed by the European Parliament — 48.3 percent (from 46.2 percent in February).
The last places the Romanians trust much or very much are the World Bank by 39.2 percent (37.5 percent in February) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) — 33 percent (from 29.5 percent in February).
The barometer was carried by Inscop Research over April 23 — 30 and included 1,085 persons.
