Romanian smartphone and tablet manufacturer Evolio announced it expanded its footprint to the German market. The company has launched the German version of its online store, available at www.evolio.de

“We foresee sales exceeding EUR 200,000 in the first year of activity on the German market. We made the decision to take the first step in Western Europe, in Germany, given the interest shown by consumers in this country, the number of German users on the evolio.ro website, representing approximately 15 percent of the number of visits from abroad,” said Liviu Nistoran (in picture), president of Evolio.

Evolio will be selling mainly tablets, smartphones and GPS devices in Germany. The new online store targets consumers in Germany and Austria, and generally German speakers all over the world, as part of the company’s plan to develop and expand the Evolio brand. The Evolio operations in Germany will be coordinated from Munich.

The cheapest tablet that is available for German buyers is Evotab 4 at the price of EUR 55.

Televoice Grup is selling under the Evolio brand tablets, smartphones, ebook readers, GPS. Televoice was founded in 2002.

In October 2013, Evolio launched the first smartphone in its offer.
