Claudia Mihalascu and Alina Melescanu have taken over the management of the Romanian office of Ogilvy Public Relations as business unit directors after Alina Stanciu, the present managing director, has decided to leave the agency. She will take over the corporate affairs director position with a local company.

Mihalascu has over 9 years of professional experience in PR and integrated communications. As business unit director she will be responsible for the consumer marketing, technology and social media practices. Mihalascu joined Ogilvy Public Relations Romania in 2007. Over the years she has coordinated communication campaigns for clients such as LG Electronics, IBM, Caroli Foods Group, Pfizer, Tarom, PeliFilip, Eureko, and project of the European Commission in Romania. Her present position is PR director.

Melescanu has close to 10 years of professional experience in PR. She has background in the pharma industry having worked over the years with clients such Pfizer, Euroclinic, Regina Maria and the Marius Nasta Institute. Melescanu has expertise in corporate communication with a focus on crisis communication, internal communication, executive visibility and influencers engagement programs. Her present position is PR director. Melescanu joined the agency in November last year.
Simona Bazavan
