Romanian Government allots EUR 39 mln for salary rights

The Romanian government has allocated additional funds to pay writs of execution concerning granting of salary rights to employees of the Ministry of Finance and the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), shows a press release by the Ministry of Finances.

 

The Ministry budget will be supplemented with RON 35 million (EUR 7.8 million), required for payment of the third installment of executory titles for the year 2016, payable in advance starting June 2015. This sum also covers writs concerning ANAF, since the institution is under coordination of the Ministry of Finances.

In addition to that, the budgets of the Ministry of Justice, the Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Constitutional Court were supplemented by a total of RON 141.3 million (EUR 31.51 million) lei for the payment of the third installment of execution titles for the year 2016, payable in advance since June 2015.

The total amounts  paid (EUR 39.31 million) are updated with the consumer price index published by the National Institute of Statistics.

According to state budget law, the Ministry of Finance was provided a global sum for the payment of enforceable titles which, by government decisions, may be distributed to institutions in order to pay these obligations. For 2015 a total amount of RON 784.1 million (EUR 174.84 million) has been allocated to the budget, and so far the government has distributed up to RON 756.9 million (EUR 168.77 million) of these funds.
