Romania enters for the first time the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year competition

EY celebrates the fifteenth edition of the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year this week (June 3-7) in Monaco, in an event which aims to highlight the business achievements of the 65 entrepreneurs participating in the grand final, winners of national stages in countries from all continents.

Entrepreneurs, investors and managers will hold for four days a series of speeches on various topics, panel discussions and open discussions with the participants, the main topic of discussion following to be the role of entrepreneurs and the impact they have on society and global economy.

Other topics analyzed at this year’s event are the improvement of youth access to the labor market, the increase in participation of women entrepreneurs in developed and emerging markets and in problems faced by family businesses.

The finalist entrepreneurs will compete for the world title, and their entrepreneurial achievements will be highlighted and recognized through their inclusion in the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year Hall of Fame, along with the 572 finalists of the previous editions, since 2001.

The winner of World Entrepreneur Of The Year will be announced at a gala ceremony on the evening of Saturday, June 6, in the Salle Des Etoiles.
