Swiss media group Ringier launched in Romania the SportNews.ro portal, as part of its strategy to diversify its online portfolio.
In order to strengthen the sports department of its Libertatea brand, the sports section of the libertatea.ro website will take readers to SportNews.ro website.
The team of journalists will be led by Mihai Toma, who has 15 years of experience in the sports press.
Ringier has a presence in 14 countries and has approximately 7,500 employees.
In Romania, Ringier has over 30 print and online products, among which Libertatea tabloid, Psychology, Unica and Viva magazines and ELLE fashion magazine.
