One week before one of the most awaited concerts inRomania, members of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers sent their regards to the Romanian audience in a video message released by concert organizers Emagic.
Frontman Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea and the new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer recorded a short video for their Romanian fans, announcing their excitement for their first show in the country.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform on National Arena on August 31, as part of the promotion tour for their most recent album, “I’m With You”.
Red Hot Chili Peppers- made up of frontman Anthony Kiedis, bass guitarist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitar player Josh Klinghoffer- is a long-standing cult band with a career of 10 albums and 60 million sold records. They mixed rock with funk, and incorporate also punk, hip hop and psychedelic rock influences.
Their first commercial success was Blood Sugar Sex Magik, which sold over 13 million copies. However, the best sold record of the band was Californication, out in 1999, which sold 15 million copies.
In 2006, Red Hot Chili Peppers released the double album Stadium Arcadium, their first number one album in America.
Their records went platinum multiple times as well as brought them Grammies such as Best Rock Album for Stadium Arcadium, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group for DaniCaliforniaor Best Rock Song for Scar Tissue.
