Internet, telephony and TV provider RCS&RDS has taken over Fastlink, a company that supplied internet and telephony services to individual clients and businesses in Bucharest (in the neighborhoods Cotroceni, Sebastian, Rahova, Berceni), Buzau and Pantelimon town, according to Capital.
“Following the partnership between Fastlink, your telecommunications supplier, and RCS & RDS, market leader in internet services in Romania, the services you now benefit from are supplied by RCS & RDS,” the company announced on its website.
RCS & RDS has operations in Spain, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia.
Cable Communications Systems Netherlands is the main shareholder in RCS&RDS, with 88.54 percent stake in RCS&RDS, while RCS&RDS controls a 7.83 percent share package.
Businessman Zoltan Teszari indirectly controls RCS&RDS, Thus, Teszari has a 60 percent stake in RCS Management, which runs Cable Communications Systems.
