Raiffeisen Asset Management (RAM) will have a new general director starting with January 2015, while Mihail Ion will remain board president. The new CEO will be Razvan Szilagyi, which at the moment is director of sales in the Treasury Division at Raiffeisen Bank.
Likewise, Mihail Ion will be placed in charge of the Direction for Medium Companies and Public Sector within the Corporate Banking division.
“I am sure that the maturity and professional qualifications belonging to the RAM team, recognized at an international level, in combination with Razvan’s leadership and expertise, will continue to grow our clients satisfaction level”, according to Mihail Ion.
Razvan Szilagyi has spent the last 11 years working for Raiffeisen, and outside of his position in the bank he is also a member of CFA Romania, after obtaining the CFA authorization in 2006.
Mihail Ion joined Raiffeisen Bank as a chief-economist, then moved on to leading the Management of Assets department and has been RAM’s CEO since its inception.
