The Palace of Victoria, where the Romanian Government has its offices, will tonight be colored in purple color, in order to mark the International Day of Epilepsy. The event will start at 18.30.

According to Darvet and other rare epilepsies association, in Romania there are about 72,000 children with disabilities, whereas about 23,000 children and adolescents are suffering from epilepsy. In Bucharest, there are 6,364 children with disabilities, but the real figure is much higher because the statistics only reflect the number of children registered with certificate of disability.
