Romania’s PM Victor Ponta met on Thursday with a delegation of the American – Romanian Business Council (AMRO), to outline the main initiatives in next year’s budget that impact the business environment.
The government said in a statement the latest meeting aims to continue the talks with the council, which started during Ponta’s visit to Washington last month.
The AMRO, which comprises 15 US-based multinationals, thanked the government for supporting the local business environment, according to a government statement.
The meeting was attended by large American companies active in the pharmaceuticals, industry, healthcare and energy sectors, such as Chevron and Johnson & Johnson.
