Philips Romania announced the appointment of Andra Alexandru as communication manager for the South East Europe organization. Alexandru coordinates the development and implementation of the corporate communication strategy, public relations activities and corporate social responsibility programmes.
She will be based in Bucharest and will report to Robin van Rozen, general manager of Philips Romania.

Through the Continuum we encourage prevention and healthy living, we ensure speedy diagnosis and treatment, and we enable better recovery and home care,” said Robin van Rozen, general manager of Philips Romania.
Andra Alexandru joins Philips from the diplomatic sector in Romania, with over five years’ professional experience in public diplomacy and strategic communication. In her previous role, Alexandru served as press and political officer at the Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania, coordinating media relations, event planning and digital diplomacy activities. In parallel, Andra co-launched several civil society projects in the field of digital communication for the public sector, such as the DigitalDiplomacy.ro platform and the non-governmental organization Institute for Digital Government.
She has a Bachelor degree in Communication and Public Relations and a Master’s degree in Security and Diplomacy from the National University of Political Science and Public Administration in Bucharest.
