The local branch of American pharmaceutical company Pfizer has a new country Manager. Nolan Townsend replaced Gregory S. Reeder who was promoted as marketing head for Europe Vaccines in the same company.
In 2013, Nolan was a Chairman of the Healthcare Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. Prior to his time in Ukraine, Nolan has held positions of increasing responsibility in Pfizer within Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy, Business Operations and Marketing in both the US and Asia.
Prior to Pfizer, Nolan was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers in New York focusing on M&A and financing for healthcare companies. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
According to Cegedim statistics, Pfizer is comes in 5th on the local pharma market with a 5.1 percent market share and sales of EUR 137 million for 2013.
