PayPoint appoints new IT director

PayPoint Romania has appointed Iulian Stefan (in picture) at the head of the IT department.

Stefan has 10 years of background in IT, with tasks in management, research, design, implementation, integration, maintenance and testing of software solutions and systems.

For the past seven years, he has held various management positions. More recently, he was business development manager at TotalSoft, a company he joined in 2008.

Says Stefan: “The challenges of the most extended network of terminals, international technical support, technological innovation as well as expansion plans are just a few of the things that ensure me that I am part of the most important company in our business area.”

PayPoint launched its service of bill payment in cash under its own brand in 2008. At the moment, the company’s network of cash points of payment includes over 8,100 terminals, and the company has signed contract with 68 important clients in telecom, utilities, financial services.
