Outdoor projections return in July

The second edition of Metropolis Caravan will start in Brasov at the beginning of July and will end in Bucharest, and will present to the viewers some of the best films of over the past year, awarded with Oscars, Golden Globe or films directed by world-known directors shown at international festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and Venice.

Until September, the cultural association Metropolis invites the public to enjoy open air cinema films on the biggest inflatable screen of Romania. The screen has no less that 120 sqm and a projector of 17.000 lumens.

The movies that will be displayed are Moonrise Kingdom, directed by Wes Anderson, starring Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and Edward Norton, The Hunt, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, with Mads Mikkelsen, Pedro Almodovar’s Los amantes pasajeros, with Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas, A Royal Affair, directed by Nikolaj Arcel, Twice Born, directed by Sergio Castellitto, The Angels’ Share, signed by Ken Loach, In their Skin, with Selma Blair and Joshua Close, Amour, directed by Michael Haneke, In the house, directed by Francois Ozon, and, of course, the Romanian movie Child’s pose, directed by Călin Netzer.
