Oscar’s movies to be screened in Bucharest

Just before the announcement of the 88th edition of Oscar’s Awards, six of the productions proposed for the Best Foreign Movie will be screened in Bucharest, at Cinema Union.  Mustang is France’s proposal for the award, while Le tout nouveau testament represents Belgium. The nominalizations will be announced on January 14 and the Oscar gala will take place on February 28. Tickets for this event cost RON 10 and can be bought starting Wednesday, January 6.

 

The event will take place this weekend, as follows:

Friday, January 8

21.00 – Arabian Nights vol.2, The Desolate One, director Miguel Gomes

Saturday, January 9

17.00 – Arabian Nights Vol. 2 – The Desolate One, director Miguel Gomes

19.30 – The Assassin, director Hou Hsiao-Hsien

21.30 – Mustang, director Deniz Gamze Erguven

Sunday, January 10

17.00 – Mustang, director Deniz Gamze Erguven

19.00 – Rams, director Grimur Hakonarson

21.00 – Le tout nouveau testament, director Jaco Van Dormael
