Orange expands 4G internet to all of Bucharest

Telecom operator Orange Romania announced it has expanded its 4G internet coverage to the entire of Bucharest, available for both post pay and prepay customers.

Currently, Orange 4G services are available in Bucharest and the metropolitan area in the North of the capital as well as the mountain resorts of Valea Prahovei, at internet download speeds up to 75 Mbps and upload speeds of 37.5 Mbps.

The 4G services are available as part of compatible tariff plans or dedicated options.

“We will continue investments to expand 4G coverage, paying attention to the quality of the services we offer,” said Jean-François Fallacher, CEO of Orange Romania (in picture).

Orange customers can buy 4G smartphones and tablets for special prices: the Nokia Lumia 625 at EUR 49, Blackberry Q5 at EUR 129 with the Panther 23 offer, Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G for free with the Business Open 45 offer, the Samsung Galaxy S4 for free with the Business Open 65 offer and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 4G tablet for EUR 399 with the Colibri Explore 15 offer. The prices include VAT and are valid upon activating or renewing the post pay offers for 2 years.
