Official partial results: USL wins 58.6 pct of the votes for the Chamber of Deputies and 60 pct for Senate

10:00 – The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) announced this morning the first official partial results according to which Romania’s center-left government coalition – the Social Liberal Union (USL) – has won 58.6 percent of the votes for the Chamber of Deputies and 60 percent of the votes for Senate.

 

Chamber of Deputies

USL won 58.6 percent of the votes, followed by the Association for a Right Romania (ARD) with 16. 7 percent of the votes, Dan Diaconescu’s PP-DD with 13.5 percent and the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) with 5.31 percent of votes.

 

Senate

USL won 60 percent of the votes, followed by ARD which scored 17 percent, PP-DD with 14.2 percent and UDMR 5.4 percent.
