New Managing Director for recently acquired Praktiker Romania

Search Chemicals, the new Praktiker owner, brought in Cansu Derintuna to fill the position of Managing Director. Derintuna previously worked as director of acquisitions for Praktiker.

Born in Turkey, he will manage the 27 store-network and will be Omer Susli’s second in command.

Derintuna is an employee of Praktiker Romania since 1998, and between 2002 and 2010 he filled the position of Director of Acquisitions.

Praktiker manages 27 stores in Romania, the second biggest DIY network in the country and is competing against Ambient, bauMax, Dedeman, Hornbach, Mr. Bricolage, OBI, Kingfisher and Leroy Merlin.
