Elena Udrea was placed under home arrest on Tuesday evening in the Microsoft case, following a decision of the High Court for Cassation and Justice.
On Monday morning she went to the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), after she was summoned for clarifications regarding the denunciation she made on January 30 against the head of the Romanian Intelligence Service Florian Coldea. She then accused Coldea of having instrumented the campaign against her. Udrea stated that in the denunciation was mentioned also DNA chief prosecutor Codruta Kovesi.
The home arrest for Elena Udrea is in place between February 17 and March 17, for the influence peddling crime.
