More than 120 Romanian art objects on auction on December 4

ARA Art Auction House will organize a new auction that gathers more than 120 pieces of Romanian art, such as Luchian, Petraşcu, Dărăscu, Tonitza, Steriadi, Pallady or Victor Brauner.

Some of the pieces on auction are: The Girl with the Hat (in picture), signed by Stefan Luchian, starting price EUR 30.000, and The Little Boy, from EUR 4.000, signed by the same artist, House with a Porch, painted by Gheorghe Petrascu, starting price EUR 16.000. Painter Nicolae Dărăscu is represented in this auction with two paintings, Cimitirul Tataresc, from EUR 22.000 and Chioggia, from EUR 18.000, while Nicolae Tonitza can be bought from EUR 1.200 in the painting Study at Poor Women at the Cemetery.

Expert advice was provided by Corina Sandu, art historian, Doina Punga, PhD Professor and Expert in art history and Prof. Dr. Ariadna Zeck, art expert.

The event will take place Wednesday, December 4, from 19.00, at Casa Capsa, Marble Room. The art objects that will be auctioned can be seen in an exhibition in the same space, on December 3-4, from 11.00 to 19.00. The objects can be seen online at www.araart.ro.
