Mediafax Group enters the classifieds business

Mediafax Group has signed an agreement with Anuntul de la A la Z (AZ.ro), which marks the group’s entry into the free classifieds business, according to wall-street.ro.

With this partnership, Mediafax will compete on a market which includes players such as OLX.ro (formerly Mercador.ro), Tocmai.ro and Okazii.ro.

According to the website of the Ministry of Finances, Anuntul de la A la Z posted in 2012 a turnover of RON 1,465,586 (approximately EUR 330,636) and net revenues of RON 1,478,330 (approximately EUR 333,511) . The company had seven employees at that time.
