Mazars Romania names new tax partner

Professional services firm Mazars Romania has appointed Edwin Warmerdam as tax partner in the fiscal consultancy department, in a move designed to strengthen its presence among the local Dutch business community.

Warmerdam has worked for over 15 years at PwC in The Netherlands and Romania and then worked in key management positions in the corporate real sectors. He has over 23 years of experience in the fiscal and financial sector, out of which 16 have been dedicated to local operations.

“The extension of the team through the arrival of Edwin is a step forward in the further consolidation of a key segment of our activity, which is dedicated to fiscal consultancy services,” said Rene Schob, the firm’s partner and head of tax advisory services.
