Agricultural machines manufacturer Maschio Gaspardo Romania plans to invest EUR 3 million this year to build a 2,000 sqm new facility in order to expand its production capacity in Arad, western Romania, the company has announced.
This year the Italian investor celebrates 10 years since setting up the local factory. “Romania has an exceptional potential because of internal resources as well as because of its strategic position which offers access to new markets,” said Mirco Maschio, the company’s manager. He added that the manufacturer will continue to invest in expanding production, technological upgrades and hiring new people over the next years.
At present Maschio Gaspardo employs 200 people in Romania.
Last year the manufacturer has reported sales worth EUR 25 million out of which EUR 14 million came from the domestic market and the rest represented exports.
