Leveraging the advantages of temporary work

Hiring temporary employees can be a flexible solution for companies looking to cover personnel fluctuations or to simplify management activities.  “Temporary work is a flexible solution for companies, as well as for employees. The temporary employee is recruited by the Temporary Work Agent, authorized by the Ministry of Labor, who will then provide services to a client-company,” explains Irina Petrescu, lawyer with the Gi Group. She will be speaking on this topic at the Focus on Employment event organized by Business Review on May 29.

“Companies use personalized workforce services for temporary activities to cover personnel fluctuation, simplify hiring and salary management activities, as well as to replace employees on maternity or medical leave, while temporary employees are motivated by the advantages of an income backed by a labour contract, the opportunity of joining an important company and gaining greater professional experience,” Petrescu adds.

Petrescu also explains that the Temporary Work Agent gives companies the advantage of the quick replacement of a temporary worker who doesn`t meet requirements, gives employers the option of selecting from a wider pool of qualified candidates and of efficient monitoring of HR costs.
