Krka Romania sales up 23 percent after 9 months

Pharmaceutical group Krika posted sales of EUR 40.2 million after the first nine months of 2014, up 23 percent year on year. The growth was supported mainly by prescription medicine, according to a report from the company.

For the first nine months of 2013, Krka recorded sales of EUR 32.8 million.

The best selling products for the company were prescription drugs Atoris, Roswera, Prenessa and Co-Prenessa, Tolura, Karbis, Enap and Nolpaza.

The company mentions that out of all the big markets it is currently active on, Romania recorded the second highest sales growth for prescription drugs (27 percent) after Germany (32 percent).

Non-prescription drugs registered a growth of 2 percent, with bestseller Bilobil remaining at the top, despite sales slumping slightly. Other products, such as Nalgesin/Naldorex, Daleron, Herb ion and Septolete recorded positive evolutions
