KPMG, the professional services firm active in Romania and Moldova, said on Monday it signed a deal with Ensight Management Consulting, a management consultancy, in a move to deepen the services offered to clients.
KPMG said the partnership is in line with its growth strategy in Romania, which focuses on organic and inorganic opportunities in selected high-demand market sectors. The agreement doesn’t involve any equity, and both firms will remain fully independent of each other.
“This strategic partnership is similar to many which KPMG member firms throughout the world have entered into with smaller, more focused consultants with the aim of providing enhanced client services. When a client approaches either of us for management consultancy services, we will advise which firm is best suited for their needs, or offer joint services where appropriate. This is an exciting development for the Romanian management consultancy market,” said Serban Toader (right in picture), senior partner at KPMG in Romania.
According to the two companies, the partnership will help them provide clients with access to an even greater base of knowledge, data, insights, methodologies and technologies to integrate, outsourcing, shared services and internal improvements into their strategies and operations.
Robert Maxim, partner of Ensight Management Consulting, said: “We have worked hard to combine in-depth knowledge of the Romanian business market with high quality standards for the management consulting services we offer. Teaming up with a firm with the resources, expertise and prestige of KPMG means excellent news for our clients.”
Maxim is a KPMG alumni. He was the first Romanian manager in the management consulting department of the firm in the late 90s.
