Romania’s unemployment rate was stable at 7.2% in March compared with the previous month, seasonally adjusted data from the statistics institute INS showed Monday.
724,000 unemployed were registered in March, out of which 724,000 had ages between 15 and 4 yearss old.
“In March 2014, the unemployment adjusted rate was estimated at 7.2 percent, equal to the rate recorded in the previous month and compared to the similar period last year”, according to a press release from the INS.
Unemployment rate among men was 7,8 percent, 1.4 percent more than for women.
“For adults (25 – 74 years), the unemployment rate was estimated at 5.7 percent in March 2014 (6.3 percent for men and 4.9 for women”, INS states.
