Moreover, the Hunyad Castle has also a 3D representation at the stand.
“It is a national premiere the fact that Hunyad Castle is represented at this event through an application developed especially for this fair. It is an original type of advertising, innovative, which allows any smartphone user to virtually visit the castle, followed by photos and comments in five different languages,” declared for Agerpres newswire Costin Tinca, the director of Hunyad Castle.
After Switzerland, Hunyad Castle will be presented in another international tourism fair, which will take place in London, during November 3-6.
About Hunyad Castle
Hunyad Castle was built by King Charles I of Hungary, after his visit in Temesvár (Timişoara), Kingdom of Hungary (now Romania), over the site of an older Roman fortification in 1307. The King decided to set up residence there. The building, probably built by Italian builders, was finished in 1315 and in 1316 the King was already established in the new castle, where he lived almost eight years. It is said that the legendary Vlad III of Wallachia (commonly known as Vlad the Impaler) lived here for a while, as a prisoner. Because of these links, the Hunyad Castle is sometimes mentioned as a source of inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Castle Dracula. The castle is situated in Hunedoara city, Hunedoara county.
