Hochland Romania names new general manager

Cheese producer Hochland Romania appointed Sorin Timus as general manager, replacing Sergiu Mititelu, whom after seven years at the helm of local operations will move into a new position within Hochland SE group.

Timus has been working for Hochland since 2004 and was named deputy general manager this March. He previously served as sales and marketing manager within the company. Timus completed an Executive MBA at WU Executive Academy – Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Meanwhile, Mititelu has been working in the Romanian branch of the Hochland group for 14 years, where he first served as marketing and sales manager, before taking the top management position. He is a graduate of an executive MBA program at Asebuss.

Hochland is the biggest cheese producer in Romania, with two plants and 350 employees.
