Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) will expand its store in the Bucuresti Mall shopping center in Bucharest, to include its home deco collection, writes Mediafax.
The clothing store located on the ground floor expanded into the first floor, where the kids and men sections were moved and the rest of the space will be left for H&M Home. According to declarations from Anchor Groups’ representatives, the mall’s owners, the surface currently occupied by H&M will grow by 70 percent.
The new store space should be open by September 20.
H&M Romania (Hennes & Mauritz) sales rose in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Dember 2013 – May 2014) by 34 percent, to EUR 61 million. In RON, H&M sales are up 30 percent, including VAT.
During this time, the Swedish retialer opened 7 new stores and reached a network of 35 units on the local market, according to a press release from the company.
