Hame Romania announced a turnover increase of 23 percent year on year in the first half of 2014.

” The communication campaigns implemented for Antrefrig (the Romanian brand with over 100 years expertise) together with the recipe and package innovations for Hamé helped double the turnover (as expressed in euro) in the last four years of Hame Romania, in difficult market conditions brought by the financial crisis”, according to the company’s press release.

Hame Romania is present with 10 categories of products, the most important being those from the pâté and meat segment (for which Hamé owns a production unit in Caracal), fish cans (where Hamé is the market leader according to Nielsen DJ2014 KAI), and compote. The company’s operations are managed by Sorin Bozdog, General Manager Hamé România SRL.

In Romania, the company’s portfolio includes the following brands: Hamé, Antrefrig, Hamánek, Hangiţa, Cara, Corăbioara, Bucataru’ and Vasco da Gama.

The brand Antrefrig was taken over by Hamé Holding in 2007 and included in the portfolio of Hamé Romania.

Hamé Holding is an international company located in the Czech Republic and present in over 40 states around the world. The company owns 7 production units in the Czech Republic, one in Russia and one in Romania, covering a wide range of canned food products: pâté, meat, vegetables, ready meals, canned fruit, jams, sirups, canned fish, baby-food, ketchup, sauces and refrigerated products like pâté, cooked meals and sandwiches.
