Infrastructure provider GTS Telecom Romania, part of GTS Central Europe, announced revenues of EUR 20 million in 2012.
Earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 5 million, up 10 percent versus 2011
According to the company, the market affected by regulatory voice price changes and slower EU/public funds expenditure.
“Business was challenging in 2012 in Romania; however, we continued to streamline the operations and maintain the high level of service that our clients need and expect from GTS Telecom. We closed the year with good operating results which have positioned us well for 2013. We plan to increase our prior investments in Cloud services (IaaS) and smartly expand our network to address our customer needs,“ said Michael Rees, Managing Director of GTS Telecom.
GTS Telecom provides national and international solutions for data transport, voice, internet access, cloud services and collocation in its own data centers in Bucharest. The company is based in Bucharest and has approximately 130 employees.
