Google House has opened in Bucharest for several days, showcasing Google services, products and technologies that can make everyday life easier. Google House is located at Maison 13, 2 Dumbrava Rosie St.
Romania is one of the four countries in the Central and Eastern Europe where Google House is implemented, alongside Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Romanians are the most-mobility oriented internet users in this part of Europe. Most Romanians start their day online, write on blogs and are very open to new technologies, according to the results of the survey Internet in the Day to Day Life, ordered by Google and carried out in five countries: Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
A tour of Google House will take technology buffs through the living room (where they can use Nexus 7, Chromebook Pixel and Chromecast), share YouTube videos and video chats with friends and family on Hangout.
The entertainment room, which also includes technologies and gadgets such as Chromebook Pixel, Nexus 5 and Chromecast is for planning trips and vacations, also with the help of StreetView and Google Navigation and Voice Search.
The children’s room features the Chromebook Pixel and can help children learn by using Google Docs, Art Project or World Wonders.
The bedroom, which features the Google Nexus 7, was conceived as a place for reading with the help of Google Play Books.
The kitchen which also features the Nexus 7 is a place where users can access recipe ads from Google Play and use other applications such as Voice Search and Google Translate.
