For the second year in a row, Golin is the only Romanian PR agency nominated at the European Excellence Awards, one of the most important PR and communication competition in Europe. The nomination arrived for the #doarcucardul campaign (#onlywiththecard) for MasterCard, in the Finance category.
„This nomination represents the confirmation of the fact that a creative Romanian campaign, with a very well substantiated strategy and an adapted concept of the business objectives, has an important potential to be recognized at an international level. With the MasterCard campaign we wanted to encourage the public to try the experiment #doarcucardul, by promoting less visible benefits such as the type of payment for a healthy business environment. In the implementation of the campaign was essential the Golin’s expertise on communicating financial products and services, confirmed by the numerous awards that the agencies has received during the years,” said Monica Botez, managing partner of Golin Romania.
The #doarcucardul (onlywithecard) campaign is part of the project „Pay with your MasterCard or Maestro card! Ask for a receipt and we will give you a prize!”.
In order for the key messages of the campaign to reach all types of public, the Golin strategy used all the communicational channels (online and offline) and the messages were adapted to the general press, the business, glossy and lifestyle ones. The campaign also involved bloggers.
Along with the educational component, the MasterCard campaign also includes a challenge for the brand ambassadors: a month #onlywiththecard. Therefore, during a period of 30 days, stars such as Andreea Esca, Teo Trandafir, Dana Rogoz, Andi Moisescu and Andi Vasluianu used in their everyday life only their card, eliminating the cash payments. And they have shared their experiences with their fans, on social media.
