Giuliano Menassi is the new CEO of Pirelli Tyres Romania

Giuliano Menassi replaces Giuseppe Cangelossi at the helm of Pirelli Romania, while the latter will be transferred to a managerial position at Pirelli APAC (Asia Pacific).

Giuliano menassi will hold on to his position of Manufacturing Vice President in the Pirelli Group, while at Pirelli Romania his second-in-command will be Ayhan Guven, as Deputy Country Manager and Industrial Director.

Giuseppe Cangelosi succesfully ran and developed all of Pirelli’s activities in Romania for the past five years. He was devoted especially to the factory in Slatina, which during Cangelosi’s mandate doubled its employee number from 1,500 in 2009 to over 3,000 presently.

Giuliano Menassi and Ayhan Guven started working for Pirelli Tyres Romania in 2005 and have also contributed to the success that is the tire factory in Slatina.
